How does an aeroplane fly?
To make an aeroplane fly we take a look at the wings.
Airfoils - have a special lift force made by altering the shape of the wing to a sort of teardrop.
Flaps - Increase lift and drag, they are for when the plane takes off and lands.
Spoiler - Change lift drag and roll.
Wing - Generates lift
Air brake - Increases drag by popping up a panel too slow down a plane faster.
Turbine engine - Generates thrust
Elevator- Change Pitch.
Cockpit- Command and Control.
Horizontal stabilizer - Control,pitch.
Rudder - Change Yaw.
Vertical Stabilizer - It is what the rudder sits in and it provides more stability.
Winglet- Decrease Drag.
Fuselage - Holds things together.
Propulsion - Provides thrust so the plane can fly it pushes/pulls the plane through the air.
Aileron- Change roll
Slats - increases lift.
That's how an aeroplane flies.
